# Terms of Service for SkyVista

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SkyVista mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

## 2. Description of Service

SkyVista provides weather visualization and simulation services. The App operates on a freemium model with a credit-based system for unlocking advanced features (weather simulations) and optional paid subscriptions for unlimited access.

### 2.1 Account Registration

To access personalized features and sync your data across devices, you may create an account using **Sign in with Apple**. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Your account information (Apple ID user identifier, email, and name) is collected and used solely to provide you with a personalized experience. We do not share this information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

## 3. Subscription and Credits

### 3.1 Credits and Unlocks
- **Free Credits**: New users receive an initial balance of 10 credits.
- **Unlocking Simulations**: 1 credit permanently unlocks the weather simulation feature for one specific city.
- **Account Sync**: When signed in with Apple ID, your credits and unlock statuses are synced across your devices.
- **Local Storage**: If you choose not to sign in, credits and unlock statuses are stored only locally on your device. Uninstalling the App may result in the loss of these credits and unlocks.

### 3.2 Pro Subscriptions

SkyVista offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

**Features**: Pro subscribers receive unlimited access to all weather simulations across all cities without the need for credits, plus unlimited city exploration.

**Payment**: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. If you select a plan with a free trial, you will not be charged until the free trial period ends.

**Auto-Renewal**: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price as your original subscription.

**Free Trial**: The annual subscription includes a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your account will be charged.

**Managing & Canceling Subscriptions**: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device, or visit https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

**Cancellation Policy**: If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period.

**Restoration of Credits**: If you cancel a Pro subscription, your previously earned credit balance will be restored and honored.

## 4. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or bypass any security features of the App.
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services.
- Automated scraping or data mining of weather data provided within the App is strictly prohibited.

## 5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content (excluding weather data from third parties), features, and functionality, are and will remain the exclusive property of SkyVista and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

## 6. Third-Party Services

SkyVista uses third-party services, including but not limited to **Sign in with Apple**, **Open-Meteo**, **Geoapify**, and **RevenueCat**. Your use of the App is also subject to the privacy practices and terms of these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

### 6.1 Sign in with Apple
We use Apple's authentication service to provide secure account access and sync your preferences across devices. Apple provides us with a unique user identifier and optional email/name information. We use this information solely to personalize your experience and never share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.

## 7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to provide accurate weather information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the weather data provided by third-party APIs.

## 8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SkyVista, its directors, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.

## 9. Account Termination and Data Deletion

### 9.1 Your Right to Terminate
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings or by contacting us at yasayllc@gmail.com. Upon account deletion:
- All personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
- Your subscription (if active) will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Local data on your device will persist until you uninstall the App or clear app data.

### 9.2 Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

## 10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms.
